Chocolate-Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

These make a great low-calorie snack for mom, or a healthy alternative for a toddler!

Start by mashing 3 very ripe bananas.


As you can see, mine are very ripe! When my bananas start to get too ripe, I throw them in a freezer bag and stash them in the freezer. They always come in handy!

Add 2 cups of oats and 1/4 cup cocoa powder to the mashed bananas.


Next, mix in 1/4 cup natural peanut butter, 1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce, and 1 tsp vanilla.

Add 1/8 cup flaxseed meal.

Drop by the spoonful on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes at 350.

Yields approximately 15-18 cookies
